These terms cover your use of the Lurkbell browser extension and the purchase of a Lurkbell Pro license. Lurkbell is provided by the independent developer of Lurkbell ("we"). By installing Lurkbell or buying Pro, you agree to these terms.
1. The product
Lurkbell is a browser extension that checks subreddits you choose and notifies you about new posts matching your filters. The free version is available at no cost. Lurkbell Pro unlocks additional features, described on our pricing section.
2. Purchases
Pro is sold as one payment for 12 months of use, at the price shown at checkout. It does not renew automatically: when the 12 months end, Lurkbell returns to the free version unless you buy another year. Orders are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Creem, which handles payment, taxes and invoices. Creem's terms apply to the payment itself.
After payment you receive a license key by email.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lurkbell Pro for your own work, including in your business, for 12 months from purchase, on up to 3 browsers per key. You may deactivate a browser to move the key to another.
You may not:
- Resell, share or publish license keys.
- Circumvent licensing.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use Lurkbell in line with Reddit's terms and community rules. Don't use it to spam, harass or mass-message people.
- You choose your own AI provider and webhooks. Their terms and costs apply, and you are responsible for the API keys you add.
- Lurkbell reads Reddit through your own logged-in session, so the activity is your account's activity.
5. Third-party platforms
Lurkbell depends on Reddit and on your browser. These platforms can change how they work at any time. When that happens we will try to keep Lurkbell working, but we can't guarantee that every feature stays available. Lurkbell is not affiliated with Reddit Inc.
6. Updates and support
We may update Lurkbell to fix problems, adapt to platform changes or add features. Updates for Pro are included at no extra cost. For support, email tdayisg00day@gmail.com.
7. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy.
8. Disclaimer
Lurkbell is provided "as is". We don't promise it will catch every post, deliver every alert on time, or be free of errors, and we don't promise any business results.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Lurkbell is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.
10. Ending the license
You can stop using Lurkbell at any time. We may revoke a license that is shared, resold, obtained through fraud or refunded.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Changes don't take away a Pro license you already bought.
